The voluntary committee members that oversee the management of the setting:
Jill Davies - Chair Person
Having been a Bream Early Learners attendee myself I was excited to be able to send my own children here when we became a family. Bonnie and her staff have been, and continue to be a huge support to me and my family. Going the extra mile and unquestionable flexibility has been a saviour to my own family and many others in our community, as we try and juggle our own workload while having peace of mind our children are thriving. I joined the Committee as Secretary in 2019 as a way of showing my gratitude, and also to support such an outstanding and highly trained team of staff that make Bream Early Learners such a valued part of my family and my community. I enjoy working with the team to achieve our goals and I am proud to be part of it.
Joanna Clark - Secretary
My name is Jo. I have lived in Bream since 2017 and joined the committee in October 2021. My two youngest children have attended Bream Early Learners from the age of 2 and have both flourished here. The highly trained and ever-friendly staff have worked brilliantly to help their development and confidence grow. It has been a pleasure to see. I joined the committee to give back to an organisation I believe to be as invaluable to the community as it has been to me and my children. Being part of the team has given me the chance to support the staff, be involved in decision making and help out where I can.
Hannah Reeves - Treasurer
Hi my name is Hannah I joined the Bream Early Learners as a Committee member in September 2022. Both my children attend the setting and I see this as my opportunity to support the staff in the development of the setting.
Layla Jones - Staff trustee
Our new constitution allows up to two employees to be on the Committee. I have joined the committee to act as a link between the setting/staff and the other trustees.
Derek Broom - Staff trustee
I became a staff trustee as I have over thirty years experience as a senior manager in local government. I feel that my knowledge and accounting background can be used to support the committee in these challenging times. I also feel a committee role may be something I could maintain when I retire from my administrator role.
Claire Davis -Trustee
I have lived in Bream since 2021. My eldest daughter started Bream Early Learners from 3 years old and my youngest daughter started in September 2023 at 2 years old. My eldest had a sensitive nature and staff were so supportive and nurturing for her. An opportunity arose in September 2023 whereby I become a part of the committee. I will endeavour to help and support Bream Early Learners who I believe are a very valuable and supportive organisation for families in the community.
